The aritcle that i read from "the new york times" was about the canadian government and how they were planning to convert 25.5 million acres of northern woodland in to a new national park and wildlife area. This is going to be the largest national park in all of north america, almost tripling the size of yellowstone national park. 77 percent of the park is trees, 8.5 million acres are going to become the national park territories. 15.3 million acres will be turned in to conservation land, and 3.7 million acres will be turned into a national wildlife area. This article makes me very happy to hear about because i think this world needs a place for all the wild life to roam free and not be disterbed by people.
