It took 3 different fire departments to put out the blaze. The cause of the firew is still under investigation, they think it ight be arsen. this makes me wonder why people have to do things like this .they are only making things bad for themselves .

The aritcle that i read from "the new york times" was about the canadian government and how they were planning to convert 25.5 million acres of northern woodland in to a new national park and wildlife area. This is going to be the largest national park in all of north america, almost tripling the size of yellowstone national park. 77 percent of the park is trees, 8.5 million acres are going to become the national park territories. 15.3 million acres will be turned in to conservation land, and 3.7 million acres will be turned into a national wildlife area. This article makes me very happy to hear about because i think this world needs a place for all the wild life to roam free and not be disterbed by people.

the article from the denver post"16 year old slain buying milk", was about a a 16 year old going to get milk last night . At around 9:45 pm last the shooting happened,a woman visiting her home heard the shooting. the 16 year old boys father called the police and said that his son had just been shot and killed. when i read this article it made me feel so mad . I dont understand why there are so many people in our world that have to be so violent. Also, i dont get why people that have already been convicted and sent to jail, are getting let out and doing the same things they did to go in the first place .

NEWS 2

The article i am going to write about was from the "Denver post", this article was about a foster parent for crossing kids. Her name is Jules Lynn Cuenos, at 6:30 on Tuesday Jules called the El paso sheriffs office to tell them that two year old Alize Vick was unconscious and breathing. She was flown by flight for life to the hospital, Jules told police that she had fallen off a parked car and hit her head. She also said that she fell in her home and hit her head on a coffee table. The police later found out that thirty four year old Jules got frustrated with the toddler and threw her down causing her head to hit a coffee table.Alize died Wednesday night at about 5:00 from her injures,at memorial hospital. When i read this article it made me very angry because a foster parent is suppose to love and care for the foster child. I don't understand why there has to be people like this in the world . Two year old Alize's parents are both in prison, her mother is in prison in Colorado. Her father is in prison in El Paso, her Father has a tattoo of her name. I cant begin to understand how Alize's parents are feeling rite now . I don't understand how someone could do something like this to an innocent child with two loving parents that just have done wrong and cant care for their child .

NEWS 1

The news article that I read from the Denver Post was about a solider that was killed over in Afghanistan on Sept 25. Luke Milam was awarded the bronze star for saving his platoon and rescuing some of his men that were trapped inside burning trucks. Also in 2006 he was honored with being the best marine, receiving the "operator of the year" award. This article makes me think about how wrong it was of President Bush to send troops over to Iraq for this long of time. It really saddens me to keep hearing about all the people that have been very decorated soldiers, and very honored soldiers that have been killed over there, when they should be back home being honored. I think that it was good to be over there at first but now I think that our men should be back where they belong, in the loving arms of friends, family, and husbands and wives. For the most part this article made me think that the soldiers really don't need to be over in Iraq and Afghanistan.

EDUCATION 1

The article I read was called "Two steps forward..." written by Mr. Ficsh. This article explains that the school is going to be getting wireless Internet through out 95% of the school by the end of October. This will allow the students and staff to bring in laptops, iPhone and anything else that is wireless capable. I am very glad to hear that this is going to happen because it will give all the students and staff the chance to get more work done during school. Also, there will be two kinds of filters that will allow the staff to put in there login credentials and they will be able to get into sites that are filtered . I think that this will be very good, because it will give students the chance to go to websites for research that might otherwise be blocked. Another amazing thing about this is that being able to have the laptops in class could be a good thing for students that may need extra help so they can take their notes and have their planner in it. All in all this will be a very good thing to have around in school.
